David Bookbinder
Managing Partner, Tandem Expansion Fund

David Bookbinder is a co-founder of Marsulex Inc., Chemtrade Logistics Income Trust, Pinova Holdings, Inc., and SPI Polyols, Inc. During his career spanning more than 25 years Mr. Bookbinder has identified and closed many investment opportunities and subsequently realized upon them through private and public sales. Mr. Bookbinder has repositioned companies to capitalize on changing market and competitive conditions, has directed merger and acquisition and capital markets activities such as public listings and private capital-raising and has completed the restructuring of several distressed or bankrupt companies. Mr. Bookbinder's experience is global with business activities conducted in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Mr. Bookbinder is also the Co-Founder and President of Orfund Foundation, a Canadian Registered Charity, which provides support to orphans and vulnerable children in Botswana, Africa. Mr. Bookbinder received a Master of Science, Development Management from OU, United Kingdom.

Allan Fowler
President and CEO, SpiderPlow Services Inc.

Allan Fowler is President and CEO of SpiderPlow Services Inc., an oilfield services company, which provides specialized pipelining services to the western Canadian oil and gas industry. Prior to joining SpiderPlow, Mr. Fowler was with ARC Financial Corp. for over seven years as Vice President where he focused on investing activities within the oilfield service sector and ARC's New Energy and Energy Technology Group. He has over eight years of chief financial officer positions with both public and private companies and five years of public practice experience in business valuations. Mr. Fowler is a member of the Board of Directors of SpiderPlow Services Inc. and Tantalus Systems Corp.

Roderick Munro
CEO, Vendanges Investments Inc.

Rod Munro is a successful serial entrepreneur who has founded and grown three technology ventures from inception to acquisition by major public U.S. companies. Mr. Munro was Founder and CEO of DO2 Technologies, one of the Internet's most successful cloud computing B2B sites, with over 15,000 companies transacting more than $50 Billion in business annually. DO2 was acquired by ADP Corporation in 2010. Previously, he founded Argus Technologies and led the company in the development of the Internet's first web-enabled mapping software (acquired by Autodesk, Inc.), and Munro Engineering, the energy industry's leading global provider of drilling and production software (acquired by Landmark Graphics, now Halliburton). Mr. Munro is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Queen's University with over 30 years of experience in the energy and technology industries.

Peter Tertzakian

At ARC Financial, Mr. Tertzakian is responsible for strategic investment research and oversees publication of ARC Energy Charts, a weekly journal of energy trends. With a background that combines geophysics, economics and finance, Mr. Tertzakian is also author of the best-selling book, A Thousand Barrels a Second: The Coming Oil Breakpoint and the Challenges Facing an Energy Dependent World.

Laurie Tugman
Corporate Director

Laurie Tugman is currently a Board Member of Pinova Holdings Inc., a $300 million Revenue Specialty Chemical Business. He is also an advisor to a number of Private Equity firms. Mr. Tugman has over 30 years’ experience in financial and operational management in the environmental compliance, waste management, and oil and gas industries. He was the President and CEO of Marsulex Inc. which he joined in 1994 as CFO, progressing to COO and then CEO from 2004 until its sale in June 2011. He was elected a Fellow Chartered Accountant in 2011. A member of Financial Executives International (FEI), he served on FEI’s Board from 2004 to 2007. He has also served on the Chemistry Industry Assn. of Canada’s (CIAC) Board from 2007 to 2011 and was Chairman from 2010 to 2011.
